Amberella Bogtrotter never felt like her life truly made sense...
That is, until her family whisks her away from her big city life to a small village in the middle of nowhere called Westlyn, where she meets Emmental Thunder, the resident bad boy of Westlyn high.
Unfortunately, Amberella was soon to realise that Emmental would prove to be more of a problem than she originally thought, and as he attempts to hinder Amberella in her quest to become the most popular girl in school, she uncovers a dark secret about Emmental, and the town itself.
