Kael wakes up in a strange forest, the wind howling through the tall canopy of dark green leaves speckled with gold. He remembers nothing of his past life or how he got to this place. He is soon beset upon by forces more powerful than one can imagine, and as he tries to survive, he is beset by scraps of memories from his childhood. Will he be able to recover his memories, or will he be torn apart by the monsters who attack him at every turn.

Change is coming to Galilea, Vasilisa's homeland. She can hear it on the wind. Whispers of death and destruction in the south, along with the stirrings of the frost giants in the north foretell a terrible future. She steels herself for the future, fighting to save the ones that she loves.
