Ten years ago, the madman known as Jason Voorhees met his demise at the hands of young Tommy Jarvis and his sister, Trish. Now, 26 year old Trish begins to hear rumors that her estranged brother has escaped the confines of his psychiatric hospital to come find her. Is Trish in danger, or is Tommy trying to warn her? Has Jason Voorhees returned? It's a race against time as Trish tries to unravel the long-awaited return of a nightmare she thought she had put behind her a decade prior this Friday the 13th.
