Human life began in the Oashoa. Nurtured by time, the archaic population split into nomadic tribes that settled the planet called Yordain. This era brought forth many polytheistic religions that praised the almighty deities of sun, land, sea, and sky, but all was shattered when the true god--the Unseen Being--stretched itself across the sky. Angered by the peoples' bigotry and infanticide, the Unseen Being created the Shray: beings bestowed with the godlike ability to manipulate the elements and eyes containing inhuman wonders. The Unseen Being dictated that if the humans could not learn to eradicate their hatred and treat the Shray--and all people--as equals, life on Yordain would be destroyed.
Humans warred over the true meaning of the Unseen Being's prophecy. Most decided to murder the Shray as they were born, until the Prophet Agememnus Eustaychys discovered how to prevent the Shray from using their powers. From then on, the Canon of Agememnus promoted the universal enslavement of the Shray.
Now, hundreds of years later, on the brink of utter desolation, the newly coronated Queen Carmen of Inya must abolish thousand-year-old traditions and unify Yordain before all life is destroyed. The world, her god, and her own people are against her, but she knows that experience can change the minds of even the most hateful. Time is slipping by, and the Unseen Being's wrath begins to unravel the world before anyone has the chance to act.
