An urban faerie tale with Southern charm
Emma is a faerie on the run from a bad human husband. All she wanted was to fall in love with the mortal man that she watched from a distance. How could she possibly know how bad that decision would turn out to be? At least there's one good thing that came from her decision...and there's no way she's going to let anything happen to change that.
She's tired, but fierce. One thing she's sure of, she's not about to let him get his hands on their daughter.
Passing as a human and hiding her abilities to keep from being discovered isn't easy. She's broke and exhausted but determined.
Emma soon finds herself in Salt Bend, Missouri. She gets a job as a waitress in a café. He's getting closer to finding her, but she may have more protection than she realizes.

A Life Beyond the Mirror

18 parts Complete

What if all the myths are real? Monsters, witches, faeries. Well NEWSFLASH! They are. And I've been thrown into the deep end. Before I was a normal girl, well as normal as any 17-year-old can be, but after moving in with my Grandmother everything started to change. She wasn't as crazy as everyone made her out to be. The friends I made in school were different than the others and I fit right in. Even weirder, the elusive handsome stranger I have been dreaming about for the past 2 years is here, and he recognises me too. I just hope that the dreams that plague me don't come true. Otherwise, things won't end well for any of us.
