An urban faerie tale with Southern charm
Emma is a faerie on the run from a bad human husband. All she wanted was to fall in love with the mortal man that she watched from a distance. How could she possibly know how bad that decision would turn out to be? At least there's one good thing that came from her decision...and there's no way she's going to let anything happen to change that.
She's tired, but fierce. One thing she's sure of, she's not about to let him get his hands on their daughter.
Passing as a human and hiding her abilities to keep from being discovered isn't easy. She's broke and exhausted but determined.
Emma soon finds herself in Salt Bend, Missouri. She gets a job as a waitress in a café. He's getting closer to finding her, but she may have more protection than she realizes.

After many struggles, they can escape the Witch-Queen - though the price is high. Even cursed with blindness, Eleeza finds peace and happiness and a family. But it doens't take long, until that shatteres as well ... *** I hope you enjoy it! It's my first story on Wattpad and also my first story I write in English (I'm German). I love the language and enjoy reading English books, but I guess my written English isn't all that good. If you find any mistakes (I guess there are plenty), feel free to point them out to me.
