Different Games

[NOTE: this story takes place in the Hunger Games Universe, but the characters are all from Sherlock, Supernatural, or they are my own.]

The Hunger Games - a deadly fight to the death where only one Tribute comes out to death. Everyone knows that. But this year, the games are different. It's the Third Quarter Quell, so naturally the games have a slight twist to them. Everyone expects that. But what no one knows, or expects, are the Tributes that will compete in the Games.

Castiel Novak: he's loyal to his district, and follows the commands he receives without thinking twice. The perfect soldier.

Dean Winchester: a boy who lost his mother when he was young. Ever since that faithful night, his father has drilled a single phrase into his mind: Protect Sammy at all costs.

John H. Watson: a man who has seen more than his fair share of pain and illness, and only wants to help save more people. He would much rather stitch a wound than skewer yet another practice dummy.

What waits for these boys in the arena? What happens to them when they meet the other Tributes? How would the new twist affect their choices? Who would break? Who would flourish? Who would win?
