Once when the supernaturals lived in secret, the humans ran rampant destroying the only world they could inhabit. Every year, the world temperature would increase, the sea levels continuously rise, and one day everything was flooded. Most of the humans perished, but those that lived in higher regions of the earth escaped the floods, the supernaturals, with their magic, survived the flooding.
But now they must survive the humans that found out about their existence, the hunters. The supernaturals clustered from their before world of living together in harmony, they separated into groups of their species, werewolves with werewolves, witches with witches, but there were others that believed if they hid with the humans that weren't hunters.
And from then on, the supernaturals lived again some in happiness as they no longer have to hide their themselves but fear because of the hunters.
Atlantis understands this more than most, as she was one of the supernaturals that hid in an area with the non-hunters when one night her parents were murdered and her sister was taken, she has now vowed to hunt the hunters because she will no longer be the prey.

I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. I prayed every night that a handsome prince would come and take me to live in his castle just like in the books. I prayed that I would be a princess and have a kingdom just like in the books. But I was never told that the books were all lies. I was never told the true reason why I was a well sought after commodity. I was never told that I am not the only one like me. When I found out it was too late to save myself. To think and in less than 4 days I will be taken away from my current home and be in a home of my own. I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. I walk back and pick up the lavender dress, admiring my smiling reflection in the mirror as the tragically human butler bleeds out onto the expensive Russian rug. --- Some plot lines and moments of the Originals has been altered for this story. The Toss of a Coin
Supernaturals are real... But their not horrible creatures causing harm and destruction; atleast not anymore. After centuries of witnessing the heinous acts committed by humanity they have kept their existence hidden from the entire world knowing that if they were found out they may face all kinds of troubles. Unfortunately they haven't been able to hide from everyone and many humans have spent generations trying to see them either proven to exist or completely destroyed. However none have found any success in it until a massive organization which wishes to see them all extinct has somehow come into possession of irrefutable evidence of their existence in hopes of exposing them all to the world so that they can easily take them down. Needless to say, it definately doesn't turn out well. Can a group of 5 college students who all happen to be supernaturals manage to find out who is behind this exposure of their kind? Can they stop them before this group destroys everything that they care for? and most importantly can they show the humans that supernaturals are not what they say in the legends anymore? It's a game of chance and if they screw up they could end up dead. It all seems to matter on the toss of a coin.
