‘I love you, Alana. Don’t ever think I don’t. I will always be there for you.’ His thumb is brought to my cheeks and he wipes the tears from my eyes.

‘That’s unfortunately what they all say.’ I look into his worried eyes. I just know this is too good to be true.

Alana Evans is shattered and haunted by the death of her favorite person in the entire world: her mother. In addition, after that and a huge betrayal, she gave up on love and refuses to believe anyone will love her back. But in her attempt to ignore it, she becomes engulfed in the lovey-dovey world. Soon, becoming a follower, she puts herself out there, trying to look for love and humiliates herself in the process. And to add on to it, she gets pushed around and bullied by someone who was once dear to her. A new student, who really cares for her, tries to convince her that she is indeed adored. But she thinks this is a joke, due to the fact that the guy she last dated never really loved her at all. But will Alana see that the answer to her questions is literally right in front of her, looking into her eyes?
