There's a world where different doesn't make the world go round. Instead, it splits society severely apart. The people who are different become known at the age of adolescence and are sent to attend a school where they will stay for four years. This school is called Academy of the Occult-otherwise known as Academy de la Freak to the general populace. Here those different students will gain maturity in their newfound species and learn and study the unique abilities and powers each of them have been gifted-be it if they are a werewolf or a witch. Sixteen-year-old Kyleigh Green becomes a student of this school when she learns that she is a one of the occult. This means she has to quit her old life-home, school, and more than likely her friends-to go learn about something she had never thought about being and never wanted to be.Would this new life and new school be something worth giving her old life up for? Or will she dread it all?

Y/N Y/L/N was the kind of girl people warned you about. Not because she was dangerous, but because she didn't care what anyone thought. She wore her scars like armor, laughed in the face of rules, and somehow always ended up in trouble without really meaning to. The truth was, life hadn't been kind to her-so she stopped being kind back. But even with all that edge, there was one person who saw her for who she really was: the Nevermore principal. The one person who didn't flinch when Y/N raised her voice or broke another hallway rule. She was calm, collected, and steady-the exact opposite of Y/N's chaos. And somehow, they fit. Quiet nights turned into long talks, long talks turned into something softer. Something real. Y/N didn't fear much-she'd been through hell and back already. But death? That was different. That was final. And for once in her wild, messed-up life, she had something worth staying for. Someone worth staying for. Will it end? She didn't know. Life had a way of pulling things apart when you least expected it. But for now, she held on. Because for once, she wasn't fighting alone. This was written in 2022, I updated every chapter with better writing and more detailed scenes.
