"Martha, there is nothing we can do, we have to wait." my husband luke said to me while holding me tight in his arms, so here I am watching the fire reach the sky, eating up my house with my child inside.
I couldn't watch any more, so I buried my face in luke's chest and let my tears free. Then it happened, someone came out moments before the house collapsed, holding her.
That's when I ran to her, I couldn't stop myself from shaking but I had to hold her, to make sure she's safe.
"Mommy, why are you crying? I'm so sorry mommy, I won't play with fire again, I promise." Eliana told me once I got to her, I kept checking her out for any injuries or burns, but to my surprise, there was nothing.
She was looking at me with her apologizing sad eyes, but wait... her eyes.. they.. they are orange?
