Luke Ross meets this girl at school and takes her home for a math and a history assignment that they are partners for and while during the homework process they had gotten very close on the girls very first day of school and during the time that they have know each other after a couple of months they have develop feelings for each other then going out and about a week and a half later they discover that the girl needed to go back for something for a couple of days and luke is very upset about it

"Daniel asked me to be his girlfriend," she spoke softly. The color rushed out of my face hearing the few words making my mouth grow dry. I tried to conceal the growing tears erupting from my orbs knowing I was hurt. I knew he would pick her over me. I knew that she was better for him. I knew that I had to step aside because as much as I wanted it, I would never take away her happiness. "Oh," I stiffly said.
