Miraculous- Why can't you see it?

Based around the tv show Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir. (You can watch on Netflix btw) it's about an OC of mine Dallas Frank a Blind America transfer student who's over protective mom keeps him so sheltered that they moved from America after Dallas learned about a swear word from one of his friends. His mom freaked out and pack up and move to in with her brother in-law Gabriel agreste in Paris. Dallas is on his way to his first day of school with his Mom escorting him when he hears someone in distress on the street and runs from his parents and saves the man in destress.
