A Collection of Short Stories and Poems
The title basically says it all. This will be a collection of really short stories and poems I have made recently in a creative writing class as warm-ups, so just sit back and enjoy a few chapters of random things based off of random prompts. This might be a crazy ride for the both of us. Caution: there will probably be many triggering chapters in this, so if you can't handle the mentioning/allusion to suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, cutting, blood, or self-depreciation of any kind, I would not recommend reading any of this. The Book of Voltaire: Descent To Madness
I'm an emotional dependent vampire. I do not need to feed on mortal blood, all I need is people's energy. I give them a good laugh, and I absorb that positive energy. If I were to absorb negative energy, I would feel worse than they do. Not only that, I am also a delusional psychic. Being a delusional psychic gives me pros and cons of my daily life. 50/50 of my premonitions are either delusion or any actual foreshadowing of the future like a seer and the way I could read people's minds so easily. I have this profound power of knowing things instantly that is impossible for me to even know, to the point that I shouldn't even know them. It is a creative and intuitive talent that helps me write books as I could use clairvoyance around the surrounding area and beyond, in order for me to write as much as information as I can. 5 Vile & Ignoble Tales
This is a collection of five miscreant tales: "The Grotesque There Is", "A Mere Clock", "Mayara", "The Lethargy" and "Animalia". Here are the synopses of each story in this book: "The Grotesque There Is" is actually a performance of two short stories. The first (initially called "Equine Hiring") is a mostly dialogue story about a horse in a job interview. The second tells the chronicle of the two men who stood in the rain. "A Mere Clock" is a narrative in the 1st person that tells the adventures of a mere wristwatch. At the first impact, the characters seem far from the reader, but the last paragraph ends up in a contemporary narration. "Mayara" tells the story of an egoistic girl that falls in love with a young man. Later, this man doesn't satisfy himself with her selfishness and ends up infuriating the girl, which leads to a series of tragedies and anguish, all due to the destructible retaliation. "The Lethargy" is an imaginary, almost parabolic narrative where the protagonist is a sleepy student disappointed in himself. "Animalia" is a first-person novelette of a teenage love affair between a bass player and a pretty who turns out to be a beast, making the story a real wild and raw mess. PS.: Some of these stories may present sensitive content and metaphorical representation of violence, although I do not consider any of these occurrences really timely characterised as 'mature content' since such matters are dealt with discreetly and with no compromise. Odd Religion
"Odd Religion" is my most unapologetic piece of work I've created so far. This raw and unfiltered poetry and prose book encapsulates my poor judgement, my inability to say what I mean, my fears, my hopes and dreams, my secrecy, my honesty, my hatred, my love, it encapsulates me and everything in between. Though "religion" is in the title, don't let that fool you. The only thing praised in this book is the war between my body and mind. This book uses strong references towards christianity and religion but it's done in a metaphorical way - some may call it mockery, but I can promise you my intention is not to poke fun at any religion. Throughout the writing of this book I kept telling myself it's just words that mean nothing to anyone but me, but I hope you can tear this book apart with your own meaning and interpretation.
