"I-I'm not sure you would understand, Freya, it's not-" Sirius stammered, avoiding the glare of her piercing green eyes, shaking his hair nervously off his face.
Freya silenced him, leaning in so their noses were almost touching. "Try me." she said in a dangerously low voice, daring Sirius to challenge her. He looked up into her eyes, and then around at the other three, who had been watching this whole scenario unfold behind Sirius.
Remus sighed. "Ok."
Freya smiled victoriously.

This story is based on JK Rowling's characters from the series Harry Potter. I have done my best to be accurate with both timelines and character portrayals, but of course there will be some changes since this is an alternate universe with some original characters inserted, plus, there is only so much written about the marauder's era. The story takes place in the year 1976, the boys are all in their sixth year, and tensions are high at Hogwarts. Many of the students are already feeling the influence of the Voldemort, and it is causing suspicion and division to run rampant within the walls of the school.
