I continue to ruminate in my own thoughts until I feel eyes on me. It's a strong pull in so many directions, yet from just one place. I don't know how I can feel this person just observing me. I've felt eyes on me before, but this is me knowing there's someone watching. I can feel their thinking. It's almost like they regret looking at me but are just as curious. I look around and never meet another pair of eyes. No one is looking at me and the feeling leaves as quickly as it came.

I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

A young girl, at the age of 6 tried to run from Hydra, tried to escape their grasp. Her silver eyes, shinning in the darkness, always giving her out. No where for her to run, but everywhere she wished she could. To her, there is no such thing as hero's, for if there where, she surely would have been saved by now. 2 years later, she is 8, she doesn't talk, she is beaten, she's tested on, and yet, Hydra can't seem to get her to do their bidding. Her silver eyes, never dulled, just lost the brightness that once filled her heart. "Hero's", she says, " are just made up fantasies for kids, to fill their minds with imagination. If hero's where real, then I would be saved from here long time ago." she feels no emotion, so it seems. She feels no pain, as it appears. But really, she just learned, to hold it on the inside. One day, she was suddenly pulled from one of her torture sessions, some of the agents, throwing her into a random cell. 2 staying just outside, watching, waiting. Then, they yank her out by the arms, pulling one out of its socket, dragging her somewhere else. They never seemed to slow, and when she would drag her feet into the floor, trying to stop them, she would get hit. Then, they where both shot down, by some stranger in a suit, catching his shield. More Agents came Marching down the Hall, at a sprint toward them. The girl, being grabbed my one, and slung over the shoulder. As she was giving up hope, the man saved her, once again, and taking her to a place, that has people who all love her, and are all hero's. She still doesn't believe in hero's, she believes, that there is nice people in the world, who want to try and save it.
