You are the Hylian champion, chosen to be so a century ago. Waking up in the Shrine of Resurrection is a shock, but having no memories to go along with that isn't helping. You listen to the stories you're told, though. You need to save Hyrule and the Princess. Those you meet along the way will be of great help to you.
