Reauward Argentum Astlblack III has perhaps the finest bloodline and potential in the entire algernonian race (one of the smartest in the Universe), and she's wasting it rebelling against the expectations for her. So naturally, she decides to burn down a bunch of ancient and very important libraries to regain her purpose. This begins a series of unlikely events that propels Reau, Mel the halfbreed elf and Chip the glitching rogue human into an adventure that begins the end of the Universe with a massive immortal pyromaniac fire-breathing buffalo and a wave of hive minded zombies, among other things (space mafia, conceited doctors, assassin rings, carnivorous unicorns, etc.).

40 parts Complete
A shroud of darkness descends upon Idilia, a world nestled within the vast Realm of Realis. Astra, the once-noble Crimson Knight, and high-ranking Vanamir Vice-Councilor, has shattered the very veil separating creation from the Non-Creation in his insatiable quest for power. This reckless act has unleashed a tide of malevolent energy, threatening to consume Idilia in an endless night, revealing secrets from centuries past. Hope emerges from an unexpected corner. Five Fae, seemingly unconnected by destiny but brought together by tragedy and darkness, find themselves bound by a greater purpose. Their mission: to locate the legendary Ætheric Scrolls, which hold the key to harnessing the power of the Primordials, ancient beings who hold dominion over the fundamental forces of the universe. This power might be their only hope to vanquish Astra and quell the encroaching darkness before it extinguishes the last flicker of light in Idilia. In a desperate race against time, these unlikely heroes embark on a perilous quest, their every step fraught with danger. *Completed* Ranked #1 in alienplanet in Jan 20 2020 Please, LISTEN TO ME!! I know you think I'm crazy and I know they told you I'm dangerous, but you have to just listen!! My people are dying! They are being killed, ruthlessly slaughtered by the millions!! I know exactly who is doing it too-but it doesn't make any sense. I don't understand why they are doing it. Please help me, help us!! To whoever gets this message, I can't do anything from here-please! I am begging you!! Please-just get me off this damn planet!! [END TRANSMISSION] ------------------- Earth is not alone in harboring life. The galaxies and universes have been opened, and all the intelligent beings residing in them have been connected and unified with each other. It has been over a million years since the Pentaverse, a cluster of five neighboring universes, was organized and unified. Now, hundreds of otherworldly species live in relative harmony with the one another. The unification was good for many species, but for some species, the change caused unexpected extinction. As a team of the Conservation of Species Committee investigates a mysterious decrease in the population of a robotic species, they stumble upon something that could potentially result in the destruction of the entire Pentaverse. This is not your average Wattpad story about how the 'bad boy meets the good girl'. This book is about a series of mysteries that begin to unfold as you read and travel through space with a group of unsuspecting aliens. This story will make you laugh, it will shock you, surprise you, and it will leave you hungry for more-all the way to the last word. Be aware, there are some adult themes in this book including drinking, swearing, love making, death, and murder. None of those topics are explored too deeply however, so I do not think it is appropriate to give this book a 'mature' rating. *********** @2020wattyawards

Among the most disciplined and fearless legions of the Guard are the Mordian Iron Guard-known for their unflinching resolve and iron discipline. Leading the charge in this campaign is an Iron Guard Officer, a hardened veteran of countless battles, who must marshal his troops against the insidious forces of Chaos. Assigned to fight alongside them is a single squad of Salamanders Space Marines, the fiery sons of Vulkan, whose resilience and compassion for humanity stand in stark contrast to the stoic and rigid Mordians. As they battle through war-torn worlds and decimated strongholds, the uneasy alliance must find common ground to defeat their relentless enemy. Their journey will take them across varied theaters of war, from scorched desert planets to the decaying ruins of once-thriving Hive Cities. With Chaos warbands, Traitor Marines, and daemonic forces pressing in on all sides, the Mordian Iron Guard and the Salamanders must forge a united front or face total annihilation. As battles rage and alliances are tested, the line between duty, survival, and sacrifice will blur-challenging both soldier and Space Marine alike to redefine what it means to serve the Emperor in the darkest of times. Will this unlikely brotherhood survive the fires of war, or will the forces of Chaos tear them asunder? Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with the Warhammer 40k franchise. I am purely writing this story as a fanfiction for fun and do not intend to make a profit from this work.
Another Stupid Spell by billricardi
20 parts Complete
Another Stupid Spell is a first person high fantasy novel, the likes of which hasn't been seen in 60 years. The tone and vocabulary of the story shifts as our narrator, Sorch the orc, finds ways to enhance his intelligence. You get to grow as Sorch grows, learn as he learns, and share his most intimate thoughts. Sorch is an orc mage in a world where orcs are cursed with stupidity every time they cast a spell. The only spell he can safely cast is Enhance Intelligence, which boosts his IQ for a fraction of a second before the curse drains it all away again. Normally casting such a spell would be pointless, but Sorch's tribe has found a way to benefit. Magic that is cast near a mysterious artefact called the 'Voodoo Engine' causes invisible hands to appear, and these hands get work done for his tribe. Sorch is a slave to the Voodoo Engine, casting a single spell over and over again to avoid being beaten by the chief's warrior caste. While foraging for food on one fateful night, our hero happens upon two human mages who are in big trouble. He saves their lives, and in return they give him an amulet that will make his life easier. Unbeknownst to the humans, their gift grants Sorch the power to break the cycle of intelligence drain and physical abuse. With the help of his friend and mentor, Shaman, Sorch becomes a real mage. Sorch leaves his swamp and embarks on a series of incredibly exciting and dangerous adventures. During his travels he encounters horrible injury, magical treasures, love, snow, university admissions tests, a plot against the Kingdom, and then of course he saves the world. Or does he? Be prepared to rethink everything you know about thinking. If your own intelligence was the fuel that your magic ran on, how brightly would you dare to burn?
