After Goldenblaze, Medicine cat of ThunderClan, receives an omen depicting the fall of the clans by her sister's daughter, she is wary for the young cat with deep blue eyes. Flowerkit quickly discovers that a prophecy between her and three other kits with identical deep blue eyes is planned to save the clans from destruction. Nightkit's mother, brother and sister are killed by a RiverClan invasion while her only remaining sister is kidnapped. Poppykit, the happy go lucky calico kitten, is carefree and innocent. Flamekit, after trying to cure her sick brother, is shunted back in her warrior course.
