Fukakai only knows hardship and the poor in her bitter world-until a young man named Ketegowaase saves her from dying in a trash can. They are taken in by a scientist, who is very kind and loving(and weird) On the verge of a great discovery, he is found dead. Everyone thinks it was an accident-but Fufu and Ketego know the truth. They work together to try and find the murderer to bring him to justice-and why the scientist was killed in the first place. Along the way, Fukakai has to overcome startling betrayals, surprising discoveries, and feelings she has never before experienced-is she up for the challenge?

Welcome to Nutayu, this random steampunk-themed world that I made up, where everyone lives on flying islands, pirates travel by steamships, and everyone has cool-looking shoes. That, and a lot of people who need a pair of good detectives.
