Shrinking. Harbored breathing. Trapped. I can't breathe and yet, here I am , surrounded by air. I hate you, I chanted to myself in this confined space. I wish I could at least, But I can't .... And that's what really sucks. Riley Wilkerson is sitting down on the floor, early in the afternoon, when she receives an unexpected text from her bae. Shockingly, this news isn't so pleasant and the tranquil world she had finally built collapsed in the matter of seconds. She begins to question herself: was she not good enough, was there another woman involved, what did I do wrong? Follow the young adult as she learns to live anew in an unknown territory, alone, and not so confident about the future lying in the palm of her sweaty hands. Will she trust again? Be able to love again? Does life even have meaning at this point? What is she going to do? This story explores the reality of a "simple" breakup, the ups and downs, the light and the dark through the life of a twenty one year old female .

It's senior year and Madison Monroe is trying to move on from a crushing heartbreak from her long term boyfriend of four years. After driving her car off a bridge, her mother puts her in a rehab center for children of suicidal tendencies, where Madeline has to decide to live and fight, or die and surrender. "How do you fall out of love with someone? You don't because you were never in love with them. People can stare into your eyes and see the stars, but if they don't see the meteors and the burning space that is behind that and love you unconditionally, then it's just dust. I just wished he never saw the dust". "How are you? What's going on?" How do you tell someone that loves you, that you just can't do it anymore. That just being alive is sucking the life out of you. In conclusion, you don't.
