Viperville is an unusual town in many ways. Places have a tendency to disappear and reappear at will, some people live forever, and the mayor has been missing for twelve years. Caia and Zeb, amateur private eyes, make their livings on solving people's odd conundrums. They like to think they've seen it all.

When giant, bloodthirsty, human-eating snakes begin to roam the streets of Viperville, Caia and Zeb find themselves far beyond their depth and embroiled in a fight to save their town.
