Aven: Birth of a god (prolouge)

Atlantis, a city now in chaos. A wild civil war rages between factions both claiming to be the salvation of the city. It's king is consumed by madness and lust for power, and feelings between he and Zeus are more than uneasy. A war between the gods rests in the hands of Poseidon, with the forces of Olympus ready to intervene in the civil war of it's sister city. On the other hand, Poseidon threatening to march his army onto the steps of Olympus should Zeus meddle in the affairs of his grand city. A boy named Aven and his friend Tyler are thrown into the threats between gods when he finds himself deep below the surface. Caught in the mix of things, and extremely oblivious to everything going on behind the scenes, Aven has no choice but to press on alone after Tyler is captured. An ancient prophecy is about to unfold once again, telling of a new Olympus; one not ruled by Zeus.
