Y/n was your average college student before the world went to shit. She lived in Atlanta with her childhood friend, Glenn, and had never once left the city after she had moved there. However, the end of the world changed that, forcing her to leave the city and wander the highway. When the city was overrun, she was separated from Glenn and forced to flee the city, which she hadn't left for years. With no idea where to go or what to do, she simply wandered down the highway. And though she may have been a city kid, she was far from useless. She was used to fighting for her life and she was used to being alone, so to say the very least, she could handle whatever the end of the world threw at her. Equipped with her trusted bow, Lucy, and her fathers vintage revolver, she was ready for anything. Dead or otherwise. She eventually came across a lost little girl, and a group of survivors hurled up on a farm. She never was a people person and never got along too well with others. Would she find a home in this group? Would they become family? Or was she doomed to wander alone? Would she ever reunite with Glenn? Her family? And would she and a certain redneck ever get along? This Is Now (the last of us)
This is a fan fiction based on the last of us game the time line of the story takes place at the end of the game and different location (sorta). I'm also going to do that thing that the game did with the seasons,the whole game is technically a year. If you watch game play you'll know what I'm talking about. This story may contain very similar events to the game (because I not the best with my own ideas) so I want give as much credit to naughty dog and the story developers of the game and the creators or artists of the covers of most of the story parts and maybe music, because I don't own them and to be honest the game itself gave me some ideas, and inspired me to make this story. oh I'm not sure if this is a good Idea but the characters in the story are me and my friends but only first names I don't wanna give out last names if that is too much and by the way not all of the characters are my friends I made a couple of them up. Just wanted to put my self in the action. I'll probably make a sequel to this story so hope you like it. This is sort of a mature audience type of story, but there is not going to that much romance...well there is actually, but don't expect it to be all that this story has to offer. Plus the cover might be a little off since Wattpad covers isn't working with me right for some reason. On the way they met a few more people and now had a small group. She slowly grows close the the youngest Dixon brother, Daryl. When they get back from their hunting trip Daryl learns his brother was handcuffed to a roof and left in the city. But what had YN in complete shock and not knowing how to deal with it is the person who did it. Her brother was alive after she already Mourned his death. She blames herself for not double checking to make sure he was really dead or not. Luckily she has a list of rules and guidelines she has been working on as the days of living in a post apocalyptic world with the living dead to keep her busy.
