Takes place post-ragnarok and includes some infinity war, except with a slight twist as the God of Mischief doesn't die

After the unfortunate destruction of the beautiful realm of Asgard, Thor, his brother, Heimdall, a Kronan named Korg, and his friend, Miek, along with the surviving Asgardians, flee on the Grandmaster's ship, the Statesman. Unfortunately, the mad Titan, Thanos, wrecks havoc and destruction among the small vessel, compared to his ship, and kills off most of the Asgardian refugees. He nearly kills the young god of Mischief in the process, and leaves them to sit on the wrecked and fiery ship and die alone. (Another twist as Thanos doesn't use the power stone to completely obliterate the Statesman.) Though, both brothers pass out and wake up on Midgard. Thor takes the time of peace to contemplate all that had happened, and just about loses part of himself in the process.

They say when you have children, everything changes - they are your world. For the newest King and Queen of Asgard, nothing could stand between them and their sons. Four years have passed since they were born and within those four years, much as changed. However even though years have passed, time stands still on Asgard, or at least Loki would like to think so. Sigyn , in spite of that, continues to raise their sons while wishing the King would be more involved with their lives. She knows better than he that they will not stay young forever. An old threat returns and promises to exact it's revenge upon the new royal family. The children's mysterious past and games are nothing compared with what beings to seep into the palace. Deals and shadows lurk around every corner. As the walls of Asgard grow louder with it's secrets, it's only a matter of time until the entire Kingdom comes crumbling down around them, claiming it's final victims. Is this how fairy tales are supposed to end? With death hanging over their heads with some deals made to be kept while others are broken? War has always accompanied the God of Mischief and Goddess of Fidelity; a constant chaos. A newly founded war continues to spread and threatens to decimate the kingdom one final time. Only the death of the one who started it all will be atonement for the kingdom's sins. I refuse to acknowledge that Endgame happened so you won't find any spoilers here. And I already finished this ff so updates will be regular. After Thanos dies, Loki is set free. Thanos is not controlling him anymore. But, who is Loki? Who he really is, without Thanos inside of his head? God of Mischief, maybe? Friend? Co-worker? Is it possible for Loki to be his usual witty self but also loved? Can he love? Thor will find out. But he was focused on Loki's mistakes for so long that he didn't notice his own.
