A Promise Fulfilled

It was a promise given on a deathbed. A promise between two friends. A promise to transform friendship to family.

"Promise me, Kartik. Promise me that you will turn our friendship to family. Marry one your granddaughters to my grandson. It's my last wish. "

These were the words of Vikhyat Sawhney to Kartik Singh on his death bed, surrounded by his family. And it was decided, that the the girl closest to Pratyush Sawhney's age would be married into the family.
