After a shocking accident on the pier Corey fights to save this little boys life.after taking him to the police station he is notified as a foster child. Corey looks after this boy until she can find a safe home where he can live life to the fullest knowing his new parents are good people.Two years later, Corey finds his necessity and it's time to say goodbye. They stay in contact but that's not good enough for Corey. Corey fights to become his foster parent.
The court agrees that it can't happen as these people have legal rights over the child. More pushing, the court agrees that it can happen if the boy chooses to.
