We can all look around and assume who will do what when they're older. The boy that charms everyone around him, salesperson. Girl that argues, a lawyer. The one that tinkers with pieces of metal, mechanic or inventor. The case with Ellie was the same. She was an ambitious child, always tried hard in class, she worked hard to get what she wants, etc etc. Everyone assumed she would change the world. And she did, just not the way they wanted.
No one is the good guy - no one is the bad guy.
The blame switches from monster to monster and in this, everyone bares their teeth.
