Y/n is very curious, kind, and loving, but she has always felt that there is something that has been holding her back from reaching her true potential, like some sort of...barricade, if you will. Y/n was born into the Te Tskaha Mo'at'ite family, being a relative by blood, and the night she was born, Eywa seedlings surrounded her as a baby, which is something that has never happened before in the history of the clan. Mo'at, amazed by this, interpreted this as a sign from Eywa to protect her child at any cost and raise her to be the future protector of the people.
