Dr Photine Smith has been with the SGC her whole adult life. She was scouted by them at twenty, already having multiple degrees in various fields of study, mainly botany. Her knowledge paired with out of the box thinking has saved the SGC and SG1 themselves from killer alien flora many times in the past.

But when her work with Daniel Jackson leads to the discovery of a gate address to another galaxy and lost Ancient cities she can't pass up the opportunity. Photine expected to find adventure, medical discoveries, a few new plants to name, but what she didn't expect was to make many new friendships with the local humans of this new galaxy. Some characters ages may change, but nothing totally insane. It has been nearly 12 years since I first wrote a fanfiction, SGA was where my first one took place.
