The sequel to The Vigilantes, Virgil and Logan are so close to their happy ending. What could possibly go wrong? Maybe it was the fact that Diesel- Deceit - and Remus -The Duke - we're still free, running around and plotting to find a way to entrap Virgil again. Will they succeed? Will they fail? Whose to say? Logan's fine. Really. He has no problem (has resigned himself) with the fact that his best friends (whom he also has a terrible crush on) are dating. The fact that their other two friends are *also* dating absolutely doesn't pose any additional problem. Neither does Logan being the sole only child of their group. Really, he's okay. But then comes Virgil, a teenager (barely adult, really) from the north, fearful, promised in marriage and destined to give up everything to join them.
