Wei Wuxian opens his eyes in a strange room. The past memories rush in but along with the memories of the loss and the hatred is the distinct memory of his own death. It takes him a while to realize that the body he inhabits is not his own. He has been dead for sixteen years. The World has changed a lot. The Jin Clan of Lanling fell when Jin Guangshan died and Jin Guanyao fled to avoid being punished for crimes against humanity, namely the ill treatment of the Wens. The cultivation world is in disarray with no known leader and no order. In a village few miles from Ciayi Town, Wei Wuxian grappled with the realization that he had been resurrected with the purpose of being targeted by all the sects all over again, so that in standing against a common enemy the cultivation world unites once more. However this time around, he has a golden core, though weak, and the added advantage that no one knows this face. What he didn't make allowance for was a person who knows his soul. P.S.
