Niccy likes the human world, it's beautiful. But he misses his true home, the fey land, and the Seelie court of which he was a part. However, he was banished by the King years ago due to his misplaced trust in a friend to whom he gave shelter when the friend was wanted for treachery-and now his banishment was complete because he foolishly visited Heaven to attend the Spring Festival. Alas! Now he could never return to the fey land... But nothing could have prepared Niccy for what happened next, when Meena, the love of his life, goes missing after the festival.
What would Niccy do? Will he abandon her? Can he? Or would he risk the wrath of his King, the most feared Sidhe in all of the fey land, in order to find her and secure her safety?

Seeing how much fight she put in for this little girl, the vampire king saw something different about this crazy girl who was never going to back down from a fight with the guards, a spark ignited in him about this strange human slave that lead him to stand up and personally chose her and her sister to be his slaves in his castle.
