June Freebody has always had a crush on Frankie Tamsem.

Maybe it started when he whispered her the answer to a question the teacher asked her in year two. Or maybe it started when he helped her up after she fell down (granted he was the person who knocked her over). All June knew was that she was undeniably crushing on Frankie Tamsem.

Charlee Freebody has always disliked Frankie Tamsem.

Whether it was because of his complete control over her sister or whether it was because she had to hear about how "amazing" he was twenty four seven from June. All Charlee knew was that she wasn't going to let a douche bag, like Frankie Tamsem, control her sister's life.

Frankie Tamsem has always enjoyed taking advantage of people's feelings for him.

Specifically, June's. How could he deny it, when there was a girl lying at his feet, willing to do anything he asked her to? All Frankie knew was that he was going to be milking this for a long time and nothing Charlee Freebody could do, would stop him.
