Call Me Liar

Every hero has a nemesis. And I may not be a hero, in fact I'm far from heroic, but I certainly have a nemesis of my own. That nemesis being the truth.

Lie after lie after lie. It only made me feel better about myself. I was living a legitimate lie. Everyone who knew me, thought I was the innocent rich girl with a flashy car and a boyfriend who's the leader of a sports team. Cliché, I know. But it's hard to question something as basic as that, not to mention the people around me were so awestruck by my oh so perfect life, that they wouldn't even bother to doubt it. All I needed to do is conjure up a lie, and they'd be hanging on my every word, begging to hear more from me...so I continued. If I wanted them to believe me, I had to add a little more detail.

Kimberly is just a normal girl who just so happens to hide the mediocrity of her life to her schoolmates by lying to them, in order to gain popularity. But she finds herself tangled in her web of lies after her ex threatens to expose her truth and knock her off of the pedestal of lies that she built for herself.
