A tiny, happy child grows into a broken, torched teen
Sophia Hendrix, if that's even her real name - supposedly a normal girl. Though everything in her life was far from 'normal'
Let's start from when she was first born...to adopted..to hated.
She was put up for adoption after three years of abuse..then one year went by with nobody wanting her, up until her two loving fathers took her away. She didn't know at that point what was going on so she called them dad..she didn't know
But when she was eleven everything went upside down
Nothing was the same
Especially when high school came
What she learnt was she can only trust herself
And she can't do that much either...

It's the year 5479 and life is terrible for some humans. But for most it's pretty good. Vampires have taken over the world. But not as you'd expect. They didn't take every human into captivity. They only take the second born child and make them work for whatever vampire bids the most money for them. That's right, they're auctioned off. Sophia, or Zoe as she likes to be called, is the second born child in her family. At the age of 12 she is sent to a 'school' to learn how to 'properly' serve a vampire.
