So I got this idea that I've actually been wanting to do for a while and I'm just getting to it now. Being a fan of The Hunger Games, I had this idea where I would write my own take on it except with me as the main character and the friends, family and people that I know in place of the other characters. This time the Dystopian setting will be in my state of Colorado. Disclaimer: I'm not trying to plagiarize Suzanne Collins, many of the things in here will be different from her Hunger Games series. I'm just looking to her story for inspiration and imagining what it would be like if I was in Katniss's place for a little while. I'll be using the name Rowan for my character. I like it because it's another plant based name, similar to Katniss's. You'll see chapter one as soon as I get to finishing it on my Wattpad, and of course I'll be sharing with you on here.

This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. If you couldn't tell already, this is a story about Resident Evil 3. I'm taking everything only from the remake of 2020. I thought of this idea when watching Jacksepticeye's playthrough, so I'll be taking from his gameplay and spinning the story on its head. This short story is the product of a lost bet. A friend challenged me to write it and we both enjoyed it enough that I wanted to share it with all of you on WattPad. It's fun and frivolous and my first attempt at writing futuristic dystopian. The United States and its Government have fallen apart and it's up to the country's citizens to find a way to carry on. In a small, central Pennyslvania, river town a group of people have carved out a stable existence under the leadership of their Governor and his volunteer militia - the Royal Order of Knights. The only problem? Governor Kramm's daughter. Charli grew up watching (and falling in love with) her best friend as he trained to become an honored Knight and her dream has always been to be one of them. However, her father's current laws won't allow women to serve. So, this is a rewrite of my second book. Hope you enjoy. This story takes place during the events of 2015, and will continue on from there. Also, just a heads up: - I remain loyal to my OTP, Brook x Darius, even though it isn't what happened in Canon. - I will have an OC in here, who is Owen's little Brother. - The story will follow sort of like in canon, but some points of the story have been altered and were given extra scenes and twists. - Some chapters may contain 1-4 episodes each, but it all depends on how I describe the characters' actions and some Dinosaur fights, which I suck at describing. - The Hybrids from the Original Version will still be here, and they will all show up as babies/hatchlings when they first appear. - Red will be part of the Raptor Squad as the only Male because of reasons. - There'll be another Dinosaur companion with them alongside Bumpy. And that companion is a Carnivore. - Dinosaurs will have conversations, and they will be written in bold text if a Dinosaur is speaking or thinking. Humans can't understand them. This work follows The Hunger Games book from the POV of an OC. Some of the plot will be changed and/or dialogue will be different. I will be following the original plot from the book as closely as possible, with some variations of differing scenes or text due to the OC insert. Thus, the world, most of the characters in this fic, most of the plot, and dialogue, belongs to and is owned by Suzanne Collins. All rights are to the creators of the hunger games series. This work will span through the first book in The Hunger Games Trilogy, and I hope to create others in the future that insert Willow into the other two books as well. Disclaimer: There will likely be some stuff in this fic that are cliche within Hunger Games fics. Also note: there's a last name naming convention for abandoned and orphaned children that is used throughout the districts. Willow's last name is Fairchild because of this. Fairchild is the most common surname for orphans, and is known throughout the districts to be for an orphaned or abandoned person.
