Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do. This is the evolution of my madness. A cluster of rants and thoughts and poems for you guys. Sequel to Nothing Lasts Forever. Two years later, Diana's life is steady(finally). College. A future she's working towards. And Natalie, the woman who makes the distance feel worth it. But even the calm can feel uncertain. Especially when a professor's attention starts to echo parts of Diana she swore she'd never repeat. It's nothing. She tells herself that. And when she's back home for Christmas, everything feels safe again. Until the drive back that changes everything. One crash. And Diana walks away with her life, but not everyone does. After, she returns to a world that kept moving without her, drowning in guilt, grief and anger. She's so consumed by what she's lost, she almost misses what Natalie's losing too.

Everything that glitters ain't gold & everything that shines ain't silver. There's not always a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow. But a rainbow will always appear after every shower of rain. It's not always noticeable because the beauty of it is way over our heads. But the fact that the rainbow is an illusion of beauty of mother nature. What is natural beauty? What is beauty inside and out? What does it mean when someone thinks your perfect when you're not?
