On the vast astronomical universe, Jara and the guardians saved the world from Atheon, an entity that created the Vault of Glass. Killed Ghaul to stop him from becoming a god, Mara's lost brother Uldren killed to avenge Cayde-6. Lastly the Shadowkeep, with the guardians by his side they killed Zulka, the remains of the Daughter's of Crota still gives them an edgy condition.

Now in the present, Jara appears to be uninterested since he'd do perilous mission, when Zavala demand him to perform something experiential, the task that he would not hesitate to beckon.
