Lauren Reynolds was drowning.
Or at least she that's the last thing she remembers before waking up in the middle of a forest with no recollection as to how she got there. Lost and confused, Lauren wanders the forest desperate to find a way back home to her family but with each passing second, Lauren finds herself more and more lost in the depths of the woods.
Then he showed up. A strange man claiming to know the way out of the forest. All he wants from her is to talk. It seemed to work when she wakes up in the comfort of her own bed.
But something isn't right.
Her family seems to look right through her, her movements and words feel more like déjà vu. Desperate for the truth, Lauren seeks out the mysterious man only to be lost in the forest night after night.
Time is running out for Lauren. Each night is growing colder, her body is aching, her hope of ever returning home is dwindling. Her only way out is to face the demons she's been running from; to accept the truth that she has denied for so long but there's an ancient evil lurking in the woods, hungry for her lost soul.
Lauren must learn to trust this unknown man to help guide her way out of the dark woods or else she'll succumb to it's dark whims and be doomed to wander the woods forever.
