What if Bella Swan had a younger sister? She was similar to Bella in the fact she was quiet and shy but that is where the similarities end. Maya Swan is athletic and carries around a bow when outside and knives when inside. Maya at the age of 9 was called crazy by her mother when she said she witnessed her nanny killed by a horrific monster that ripped her nanny apart. Maya, while close to Phil is, and her mother, Renee, are not close.  Phil keeps Maya with them for an extra year to keep her in touch with her last year of archery competition before Renee insists that Maya needs to go to Forks to keep Bella company in her time of grief.
