People fear the unknown. People fear the different. Most of all, people fear Power.
For centuries, the Psychics embodied the general population's worst nightmares, and were heavily persecuted. Everything changed when Qwan de Lubaine exposed his own powers, relinquished his noble title and estabilished the first Lamasery. Ninety-six years later, the world has changed. The psychics are protected and governed by the Psychica Laws compiled by the very first Lord Abbot, and the true magic is slowly rising from the obscurity of superstition. The lamaseries are sanctuaries of peace and acceptance for the gifted, where they are aided to find fulfillment. But the fight for concordance has not been won everywhere.
The Lord Abbot has seen a psychic capable of bringing world-wide harmony in a vision, and has sent his most trusted subordinates to find him, in a difficult journey leading right into hostile territory.
