People fear the unknown. People fear the different. Most of all, people fear Power.

For centuries, the Psychics embodied the general population's worst nightmares, and were heavily persecuted. Everything changed when Qwan de Lubaine exposed his own powers, relinquished his noble title and estabilished the first Lamasery. Ninety-six years later,  the world has changed. The psychics are protected and governed by the Psychica Laws compiled by the very first Lord Abbot, and the true magic is slowly rising from the obscurity of superstition. The lamaseries are sanctuaries of peace and acceptance for the gifted, where they are aided to find fulfillment. But the fight for concordance has not been won everywhere.
The Lord Abbot has seen a psychic capable of bringing world-wide harmony in a vision, and has sent his most trusted subordinates to find him, in a difficult journey leading right into hostile territory.

Some people say, that the planet birthed death because of the deadly war. However, something else was birthed, an heir. Her name was Milia. She possessed true power and ultimately ended the war. Milia ruled the world and her children became the inevitable successors. Although they lacked Milia's gift, the future generation, though it was thousand's of years later contained Milia's powers. The children were named the true heir, therefore they were hunted. No hunter was more well known than the bitch, the baddest; Methaya. Being half human, half snake, her luminescent eyes turned the living into the inanimate. To save her children, the Queen of the planet rifted her children into Earth, where they lived for 500 years, unaware of their cursed destiny. After a prophecy declaring that the oldest would die, the truth started unravelling and they learnt things- that would change things forever. There's a rich history or a back story where almost 20 years ago the hunters gathered and removed all existence of witches with elemental magic (Controlling Earth, Fire, Water, Air & Spirit ) but only two survived. That's when the book jumps in to follow the path of those survivors. Um, there are factions of offensive(Elementals) and defensive covens(Guardians) and then there's the elements of epic love, love that consumes the people involved and of course what's love without a little danger. - Thank you so much if you've read this far. His mind went haywire. ~'~ Lexin wasn't depressed. He was aloof, careless, reckless, and had a bad case of insomnia. Which might be symptoms of depression. After his parents pass in a tragic accident, he's forced to move in with Monica Vale, his mom's best friend. Due to his lack of family, she was named his guardian. This would all be good and well. Lexin could go on brooding and driving his life into the dirt. Or at least he could have, if it weren't for her arrogant son, Devyn Vale. Devyn and Lexin had despised each other for years. Since the beginning of eighth grade, they decided they no longer liked each other.
