Eleven Hopper, William Byers, Jonathan Byers, and Joyce Byers have just moved away from Hawkins. While Joyce is trying to keep Eleven safe without her evil father finding her again, Will struggles to fit into the new school. Back in Hawkins, the rest of their party is having a tough time with coping without their friends. When the electrical system in both towns starts going haywire, the crew starts to fear that something is going wrong in the upside down.
