Can you make the cut? "You made the cut", she says handing me a ring with a C in the middle. I look at her then back at the ring. The Cut? Me? Really?! "What is the cut exactly?" I ask. She rolls her eyes and smirks. "Clueless, as per usual" She places her hand over mine covering the ring, and leans in closer to my face. Mmm she smelt like watermelon and-. Snap out of it. "The Cut is a set of rules girls must follow and complete challenges in order to stay on the social hierarchy. There are different groups in each grade, and the senior reigning champs decide, who made the Cut in each round" she steps back and smiles at me. "And you Nellie made the Cut for the first rounds, congrats!" Since grade six all Nellie could remember was her only friend leaving her for popularity. Ever since she has been trying to win back the friendship they once had, but when high school begins Nellie is faced with more problems than before. The Cut.

Completed. Rewritten story telling of my book, Mr. Pick-Me-Upper. "Keep your head up Princess, your tiara is falling." "Did you really try to comfort me with that line?" "Well. Is it working?" "What do you think? No, it's not." ••• When Cassidy graduated high school she never thought anyone would want to contact her ever again. Honestly, she tried so hard to make that true. But one day she gets a text that would change her life. There is someone, specifically a boy, who remembers her and made it obvious on many different occasions that he will not leave her until she gets the advice he thinks she needs. They both thought nothing more than advice sharing and cheering up would come from them talking. They could not have been any more wrong.
