The Extraordinary and Unusual Adventures of Matthew Patrick

In Los Angeles, California at the height of 2019, Matthew Patrick is a former special agent with a passion for science and invention. He's also an occasional, but also reluctant, sleuth. The truth is he'd rather be in his lab tinkering with dangerous chemicals or odd machinery than running around the streets of L.A. trying to track down stolen goods. But when The president's government calls, Matthew swaps his microscope for a magnifying glass and fills his pockets with things that explode and sets out to unravel a mystery of a very unscientific nature.

Thrown together with a reformed pickpocket called Y/N, and a rebellious young man called Mark, Matthew and his Cat, Skip, find themselves pursuing an ancient chinese plate, a dangerous conspiracy, and an enemy that may not even be human. Solving the case will be hard enough- surviving will be a bonus.
