Josie didn't even want to go to her brother's Civil War reeanctment--let alone dress up for it. But going to the bathroom while wearing a hoop skirt is the least of her worries. Somehow she and Russ get thrown back into time...which would be cool if it wasn't in 1882, and if they hadn't gotten separated on their trip back...and if Josie hadn't found herself in the middle of a feud.
Now, stuck in the Hatfield household, she's got to find a way to get to her missing brother without offending the frightening Devil Anse or his suspicious uncle, Jim Vance. She's got five days to stay with the Hatfields before Election Day, an event she's told no one can miss. Maybe, just maybe, she'll be reunited with Russ.
And maybe she would've gone home, too, if she hadn't found herself completely swoony over Cap Hatfield.

34 parts Complete
Strands of your mind cling together like web to a slippery leaf bathed in the morning dew. You have seen both heaven and hell, witnessed the atrocities of war firsthand, and imagined a better life in the deepest, most intimate corners of your dreaming spirit. The wishes for peace and certainty you have once so desperately longed for, now lay trampled underneath the might of your mind's vivid horrors. What was once so bright and lively, now cowers in fear, clinging to gone memories like a shipwreck survivor to some lowly piece of driftwood. From the depths of hell, you arrived victorious, grasping the laurel wreath high above your head. Unrecognizable, with your empty eyes telling a story of innocence brutally taken away from the child curling in shame in the depths of your empty soul. Almost green you are, curly head, having grown up with a rifle by your bedside table, never knowing peace and quiet. Out of the pan that was the Kazdel Civil War and into the scorching flames of Lungmen, where life flows by on its own accord, here, you must learn to live once more. So put on your best facade, Let the reuniting trumpets ring a wild, And allow the city to swallow you whole. Here we are, a continuation of my previous work "Goodbye Curly Head", which sprawled into quite the epistle (but it wasn't really a letter, it's just long :P). Summarized in the most basic way possible, it's a story about a twenty-year-old Kazdel Civil War veteran who goes to Lungmen and has some troubles acclimating to the steady life presented before him. Sprinkle in a too-good-to-be-true offer and a freshly established logistics company, and you get Andy trying to make it big for as long as his deteriorating mental state lets him. I'd say it works as a standalone story for anyone who doesn't want to bother reading the first part. For now, at least. As always, please, pwwease leave a comment, positive, negative, I LOOOVE reading and replying to comments!!

12 parts Complete Mature
Bea Dawson was just a girl. Just like everyone else, she got up absurdly early every morning, worked a job, and fell asleep in front of her TV at a time that would send her friends into a laughing fit. She was perfectly normal, perfectly boring some would even say. That was, until she woke up one morning, not in her bed, but in the middle of a forest. It didn't take her long after that to realize that she'd somehow gotten herself stuck in Storybrooke; a fictional town from a fictional show she had watched once or twice before. Bea was lost and didn't know what to do, but what she did know was that she needed some help. And she knew of a certain Hatter that had more than enough room at home to accommodate her. Jefferson Hatter was a hateful man. After years of watching his daughter enjoy her life with a family that didn't consist of him, in a house big enough for fifteen people, he had enough. He figured he would never have to deal with another living person again. Bea Dawson happened to throw a wrench into that plan. With her smiley attitude, promises of a better life, and hair that smelt of jasmine and vanilla. It was inevitable that he would fall, wouldn't you agree? All that mattered was if she would be there to catch him. 1st: jeffersonhatter (12/16/2021) 2nd: jeffersonxoc (06/21/2025) 2nd: gracehatter (12/25/2021) (I do not own these characters as they belong to ABC's "Once Upon A Time" universe, although the beautiful Bea is of my own creation.) © ARIDT07 - All rights reserved. But what happens when Campbell forgets everything that happened in the last year due to the car accident? The Cades are devastated when they find out she doesn't remember them. And so are Campbell's friends, and Brent. The doctors told them to take it easy, and slowly help her get her memory back. It could take days, weeks, months, or even permanently. He will wait forever, if he has to, for her to love him again. But when Alec Daniels enters the picture, things get more complicated. Especially when Campbell and Alec start to get close, really close. It doesn't help either that Alec and Brent have pure hatred for each other ever since they were little. Campbell's life was crazy, but now it's insane. Will Campbell get her memory back? Will Brent win her heart or will Alec? Can Campbell ever go back to normal with her family? Or will they be torn apart? Find out in Loving the Cades. (Third book in the Cades series)
