This is my original work. Please don't copy my story. Any sort of imitation will not be ignored. I'll COME FOR YOU AND HAUNT YOU. You can also inform if such a case is found. Writing a story isn't easy. It's fun but definitely needs a lot of effort.

Rumerra - The Journey Begins by AACrow

Since she was a little girl, Velvet has been reading stories about great wizards and witches of Rumerra's past, wishing every night to wake up one day and be blessed with the affinity for magic herself. Unfortunately, the odds are stacked against her. Both her parents had no magic and thus the chances of her developing it are slim at best. But the gods of fate smile upon her one day when she receives her mark of light, thus becoming a light witch. Acquiring magic is only the first step, however. After this comes the grueling and life-long task of mastering it. We accompany the young witch as she sets out on a journey of self-discovery, full of magic and wonder - or so she thought. Velvet quickly starts realizing that the world of Rumerra is not like the worlds she got to know in her stories at all. Compared to her hometown of Simula, Rumerra at large is vast and unforgiving. From the frigid tundra of the Frozen North to the craggy hills of Eldrasit, and the vast forests of the elven lands, Velvet encounters mercenaries, dragons, and a vast array of other creatures, all of which seem eager to demonstrate that the world is far more cruel and unforgiving than she thought. Good and evil are not so easily told apart, not everyone is to be trusted, friends can die and a happy ending is all but guaranteed. Will Velvet be able to find her place in such a world? Can she become the hero she admired in her storybooks and pass on her knowledge of magic to others as she always wanted? Or will the cruel reality shatter her illusion and bring the girl to her knees?

Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. Coming from a long line of witches is bad enough, but she's even more different than the rest of her family. The fact that no one will give her any answers to why she's so different doesn't help matters. Her entire existence is shrouded in secrets that everyone around her refuses to reveal. After a family tragedy, she moves to a new town, and she gets her first chance to at least pretend to be 'normal.' For the first time, she's allowed to leave the house and go to an actual school. She makes friends, and she develops her first crush, that's quickly followed by her second. She's finally living the normal teenage life she'd dreamed of, but it doesn't last. Everything she believed about herself and the world around her is changed in an instant. Family secrets come to light one after another, turning her entire world upside down in the process. She quickly realizes that sometimes ignorance really is bliss, and maybe she didn't really want to know the answers to the questions she'd always asked, especially when one of these truths causes people close to her to turn their backs on her without hesitation. Before she can even recover from the shock, she's thrust into a war that she hadn't even known existed. Loyalties will be tested. She'll have to choose sides between all of the people she's come to care about. Will she stand with her family, her new friends, or the two boys who both hold a piece of her heart? One thing is for sure. She'll have to let go of her dream of 'normal.'

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

Highest Rankings: #1 Vampire #1 Paranormal #1 Fantasy #1 Supernatural #1 Action #1 Dragon #5 Romance #5 Wattpad's AD App 100 MOST READ LIST! Her body was exquisite. I wanted to run my tongue around her hardened nipples and grasp her hips while sinking inside her. I contemplated what sounds she would make when I nudged her deep, and how long it would take before she screamed my name. It wasn't a matter of if she would scream my name, only when. I shook my head, trying to clear my rampant thoughts. If she'd never been touched by a man, starting out with me was an extremely dangerous choice. Anxiety rolled through me. There would be no 'starting out', because that implied a continuation and all she had was an ending. I hadn't just come here for answers. Tonight, she was going to die by my hand... NOTE: Contains graphic intimacy, intense relationships, humor and clever twists you will never expect! FOLLOW me to see the PRIVATE chapters! TRIGGER Warning: contains episodes of sexual violence. Jadalove16: Honestly, this book deserves a Grammy, an Emmy, an Oscar, a Golden globe, all the Watty awards and every award that exists. This is hands down the best Wattpad book I have read and it is most definitely is in the top 3 of my favourite books ever. It is by far the most unpredictable book I have ever read. I seriously want this book to be published and sold because I would definitely buy it. This book deserves universal recognition, that's how fucking great it was. I constantly put off sleep because I was so absorbed in the story. I even went to bed one hour before I would wake up one time. Even though the this book was based on fantasy it felt so real and the characters, the problems, conflicts and everything that occurred was realistic. It was well written and hardly predictable. When you thought you knew something, it was something completely different. This book was an emotional rollercoaster and I enjoyed the ride. © 2015 All Rights Reserved
