Feeling defeated and scared I heard the men closing in. All I could do was close my eyes and wait for the worse to happen. All of a sudden I heard one of the men scream in terror. I quickly opened my eyes to find an oversized black wolf bite off the head of one of the men in front of me. The blood splattered everywhere hitting my clothes too. The other man tried to shoot the creature down, but he was too late. The wolf had taken the man down and tore him to pieces. The wolf turned and started stalking towards me when he was finished with the man. He looked at me with crystal blue eyes. I was drowned in the beautiful sight. Then I collapsed in darkness.

"Who are you?" He asked eyes as wide and bright as the moon. His expression didn't even fit his pretty face anymore, it was just plastered there laughing at me crushing me down. This is not me! I don't get emotional and break down. I was raised to be strong and fight these horrible beasts that murdered my family. I took a look at him. He was all tied up and bruised. He was the most beautiful man I've ever seen, he was clueless so i lied to him my name and made up a whole different person that i wasn't. Maybe i did it because i wanted to get away from the life i had. Be normal for just one second. My life was based on rules and whenever i was with him he made me feel alive. I knew danger was lurking in his way. When it came it revealed all of me. Secrets came out and things started to reveal that i never thought was true myths that i read about in old books at least i thought they were myths. Into The Light
I heard the the snow crunching under foot as I ran as fast as my legs would take me through the forest. The air whipped through my hair as I ran, creating a ribbon like flow behind me. I dipped and dodged around trees, careful not to trip or run into anything. Just a little further, I thought to myself. I knew I would be safe as soon as I saw the little cottage at the end of the thick forest. I was so close to my freedom, so close to opening the door. Bam! My body instantly became cold. I squealed as the snow fell into my collar and down my back. I wiggled trying to get it to pass through my coat and drop out the bottom. I turned around with a glare on my face. My father stood facing me with a smug grin. Again, I attempted to stomp into the house when suddenly, my mother jumped out at me out of no where and pelted snowballs at my entire body, I noticed through the chaos my big sister was also helping her. "OKAY! I surrender!" I cried, falling back into the icy blanket with tears of laughter flowing from my eyes. ********* I gasped as I woke from my dream. I looked at the forest around me. Cold, dark and empty. I still had hope that they were just hiding and that this was all just a bad dream, but after a moment or two of listening to the trees creaking, I sighed. I was alone.
Verge of Insanity
My dream continued the one I'd been having for the past couple of nights. I ran, gasping for breath, through the familiar woods from a dark figure behind me. The faster I tried to run, the slower I seemed to go, until it was like I was running in place. I knew I needed to run. I was terrified of what the figure would do when he caught me. "Mara Leigh," a deep, smooth voice called. It was almost hypnotic. That was new. The figure had never spoke before now. I ran as fast as I could go, eyes searching the forest floor for a big stick or something that I could use to defend myself. "Mara Leigh!" the voice came again, this time more insistent. The forest slowly started to fade and I started to awake to someone shaking my shoulders. "Beau?" I mumbled, turning my head to the side. What's Beau doing in my room this time of night? Why is he shaking me? "Do not call me that name." My eyes flew open as I jumped at the voice from my dream. A face was right in front of mine, and just like the voice, it wasn't Beau. Before I could form a scream, a hand covered my mouth. I tried to bite it but I couldn't get my mouth to open. He's too strong. I started to use my whole body to try to get away, but he crawled on top of me, holding me down. I pulled the hidden knife out from under my pillow and slashed as hard as I could at him, but he just grabbed my wrist and squeezed it until the pain made me drop the knife. Then he grabbed both my hands in one of his and held them over my head. He held me down while I struggled. I grunted and moved and tried to kick and scream, but I only wore myself out. Exhausted, I stopped thrashing and let the tears flow freely down my cheeks. I didn't know what to do, so I just tried to prepare myself for whatever was coming.Complete

I widen my eyes beginning to run in the snow making my feet heavy. "Help! Somebody help me!" I scream in a cry looking around to find nobody on sight. "Help!" I scream trying to run faster hoping somebody would hear my cries. My throat became sore from the cold quickly making it harder to breathe freely. "Help me! Somebody!" I hear the tall figure run behind me feeling a grip on my hair. My white ski hat fell into the ground covered in snow. The man groans pulling my hair towards him making me collapse. "No, stop!" I scream struggling from his grasp, punching and kicking aimlessly. "Shhh." The man whispers into my ear grabbing onto my wrists starting to cuff them. "No!" I scream twisting and turning trying to bite the man's arm. The man doesn't say much. The only thing I hear is his heavy breathing. He starts to shackle my ankles together as I lay a full blown kick into his face making him groan in pain holding onto his nose on top of the mask. "Help me, somebody!" I keep yelling as he kicks me in the stomach and takes out a clothed bag from his coat pocket putting it on my head covering my face. He ties it up from the back tightly making my neck feel pressured. "Please." I whimper. "You don't have to do this." I cry admitting defeat. "Night, night."
