Carmen and her sister, Sherrie, have been living in an orphanage since their parents died when Carmen was 15(she is now 22). When Carmen was old enough to leave she did even tough she couldn't bring Sherrie, but now Sherrie is 18 and ready to go celebrate life with her sister. Well she thinks that but when Carmen tries to celebrate they get into so pretty bad stuff while camping. Now they are the targets. Carmen and Sherrie better check their theory about in safety in numbers.

Morgan has to get out. Something very wrong is going on at the First Street Orphanage, and she's not sure what. But even if her suspicions are right, how could she possibly prove it? She's only been there for a couple of years, but girls have been going missing and with her eighteenth birthday coming up, she's afraid she might be next. She has family in San Fransisco, so her best bet is to make it there and hope they'll take her in. But to get there is going to take some clever planning and if she's caught, it could mean the end for her. Is being brave enough or will she have to use every skill her older brother ever taught her to survive?
