When the Mayor of Dornwich mysteriously meets his demise, the simple town is in need of a new leader. His brother, Elroy Barnes, takes the place of his brother to keep order and sustain the small little town. However, the bodyguard Hubert finds something uneasy about the new mayor. After losing his job and determined to put his mind at ease, he reunites with his old college roommate, Monty Fox, who over the years had become a popular rock star and also, a supernatural fanatic. Together, they're quite the unlikely mix, however, they had a reputation. Deciding to one night spy on Mr. Barnes after suspicions to both of them rise, they find an ugly truth and more once Elroy pays a visit to the local... Sewers? Monty couldn't be more thrilled... Now they were dealing with a cult! How do they make sense to any of this? After overhearing of Elroy's plans to awaken a dangerous entity, the two must put their heads together and think of a plan to expose the Mayor for who he really is. What could possibly go wrong?
