Saya y Aiko se embarcan en una nueva aventura en Johto.
Las corrientes han cambiado y por ello han acabado allí, del mismo modo que no pueden salir por vía marítima. 
El clima esta cambiado, los  pokemon están nerviosos, los perros legendarios destrozan ciudades, y hace tiempo que no se sabe nada de Ho-oh y Lugia.
¿Qué ocurre? ¿Por qué los líderes no consiguen encontrar una solución? ¿Y que es lo que ha visto Morti que lo tiene tan nervioso?
